Wow, I love senior sessions! Especially when the seniors are as stylish and confident as Erica!!
I just adore the feel of this first one- so warm and relaxed.

Thanks for just going with it, Erica
I know I have some weird ideas, but I think these turned out great!

So so pretty!

♥!!! Favorite? Maybe? There are so many I just LOVE!!
Hello confident young woman! Way to rock it!

E for Erica!

Erica- thank you for the superawesomefun session! I hope you LOVE your preview as much as I do!
This weekend I got to photograph the wedding of Jenna and Josh with my dear friend Kat, of Kat Foley Photo! I’m so glad I was able to be a part of such a gorgeous and emotional celebration.
Green happens to be my favorite color, so I just loved their color scheme!

The necklace on Jenna’s bouquet is her mother’s. It came from Italy and was given to her when she was born. ♥

Jenna is so lovely!

These two were so cute going down the aisle!

I love this. ♥
I love Ann Arbor- so many great, beautiful little spots!

They had a guest fingerprint tree! Such a great idea!

Congratulations, Jenna and Josh!!!
So, my engagement sessions usually last around an hour, maybe an hour and a half. This one lasted over FOUR hours! Though I admit we were only taking photos for half of that time, because, well, Lauren and Brad are awesome. They’re the kind of people you want to spend your whole day with!
These two are getting married at the Detroit Zoo next May, so we started their engagement session at the Zoo as well!
Thanks, guys, for going along with my weird ideas

I looove these. So gorgeous!
This bear was smiling for me.

Can you spot the seal?!
Peacocks are Lauren’s favorite!

Camels=Awesome. I think this one is my favorite!
After a quick (orrrr over an hour) stop for beers, we took a little stroll through Royal Oak.
I just love the news stand background!
I ♥ Movie Theater lights!

Lauren and Brad- thanks for the great afternoon and the Magic Hat! Can’t wait to see you both again!
Cherie and Joel were kind enough to invite me over to their house to shoot their engagement photos- and what an amazing location it turned out to be! We had a great, relaxed session. I asked Cherie to think of things that they like to do together, and she said they spend the most time in their backyard and on the boat- which sounded just perfect to me!
How cute are these two?!
Joel picked Cherie’s ring out all by himself. He has great taste- in both jewelry and fiances

Cherie’s a knockout.
♥
They have a dock(!!!)… in their backyard(!!!)

Boats make perfect props.

Joel has his girl, his baby (the mustang), and his boat!!! What more could a guy want?!
Love this last one.♥
I’ve been taking my Holga around with me on personal trips lately! I love how cute and unpredictable it is! ♥ Today I got some prints back from the lab, and I thought I’d share a couple with you!
My favorite. This is my sister, Tasha, walking into the ocean. I took this on a recent trip to Hawaii!

Hawaiian flowers and sun flare.

If you look closely you will see my sister’s boyfriend, Simi, laying in a hole on the beach with just his feet sticking out!

These last two are from a Vineyard outside Traverse City, MI.

My Andy. ♥
